Hello Friends,

I am Nefertari Imani Baraka and I am a local Atlanta author and book reviewer. I help others get started in publishing an writing and I am also an outspoken political critic and businessman. This page is an introduction for me in Atlanta and it allows others to review and purchase my books.

Author Background

I am originally from Detroit, Michigan. I hold a B.L.S., an M.Ed., and several other certifications. I’m currently partnered with Shombay Kimoni on the fictional series "The Black College Lamentations". The first book in this series is available on Amazon.com. Shombay has penned more than 40 books, most of which are business books. Currently he has 3 fictional books available and he has several more due for delivery in the next 4 months. He lives in Superior Township, MI which is between Canton and Ann Arbor, MI. while I call Stone Mountain, Ga. home. I am a mother, author and educator. I have served on several prestigious boards, political action committees and am a staunch supporter of the Georgia educational system.

SHG Publishing

SHG Publishing is a publishing company that owned by Shombay Kimoni, and it currently publishes several of Nefertari's titles. The organization has published more than 50 works of art and science. SHG focuses on revenue and building a following. Shombay runs the organization and works to bring on new talent and help others succeed. His main focus lately has been e-books and publishing in the digital form. Nefertari currently has her books in hardback, e-book and kindle downloads. If you like her titles, there is no form you can't get it in.
